(1) Joy to the World
Christmas is the highest point of human history because it marks the fulfilment of God’s plan to save mankind from the curse of sin. Our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ alone can save us from our sins.
At our Christmas Praise Service, we rehearsed the great joy of our Saviour’s birth. The joy of Christmas begins with the joy of salvation. May we be strengthened to go out to share the good news to a dying world.
(2) Remembering God’s Goodness in 2014
The year 2014 marked many first time events and experiences for God’s people at Blessed Hope Bible-Presbyterian Church. As the year comes to a close, may we count our blessings and reflect on God’s goodness unto us.

Our very first Church Camp at Traders Hotel, Putri Habour, Johor Bahru. Camp theme: Jesus is the Joy of Living. 50 campers attended.

Based on JC Ryle’s Expository Thoughts of the Gospels, Blessed Hope Daily Devotion was made available on the Church’s website from 1 August 2014. These devotions are great gem for your meditation and spiritual nourishment.

One year since prayer meeting began in our “Upper Room” at the Praise Chapel.

With the kind permission of Rev. Dr. Tow Siang Hwa, we reprinted copies of Revival Hymns and Choruses, which were made available for our weekly worship service from 7 September 2014.

Our first Family Day with kite flying at West Coast Park, followed by dinner and message on “Headship in the Home” at the Republic of Singapore Yacht Club.

The commissioning of our Church logo, depicting Christ’s imminent return based on Titus 2:13, “Looking for that blessed hope…”
(k) 12 October 2014
The Church’s first Baptismal, Reaffirmation of Faith and Transfer of Membership were conducted. Rev. Dr. Tow Siang Hwa officiated the baptism. The Church received 26 members on that memorable day.
(l) 9 November 2014
Preacher Lek Aik Wee was unanimously called by the members of Blessed Hope BP Church as Pastor of the Church. The meeting was presided by Rev. Dr. Tow Siang Hwa.

Our first Youth Camp at the Republic of Singapore Yacht Club. Camp theme: What Doth the LORD require of thee? 13 campers attended.

(3) BHBPC’s First Anniversary Thanksgiving Service
We shall be commemorating the Church’s first anniversary Thanksgiving Service on 11 January 2015. God willing, Rev. Dr. Tow Siang Hwa shall be our speaker. Please pray as we make preparations to give thanks to God.
