Romans 1:1-4, The Gospel of God

Romans 1:1-4 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, 2 (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,) 3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; 4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead: 

God is the Originator of the Gospel. The Gospel of God declares Jesus as the Saviour of the world. Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, made of the seed of David according to the flesh. He was of the seed of David. It is Jesus Christ who gave David life, who brought David into existence. Jesus Christ is the Giver of all human life (John 1:3-4). And yet Jesus Christ is the offspring, the descendant of David, according to the flesh. How could Jesus Christ be both the Giver of David’s life and yet He is the offspring of David? Except He be the living and true God, the Christ!

The risen Christ testified in Revelation 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

The morning star stands out as the star that shines the brightest when the night is the darkest at dawn amongst all the stars in the sky just before daybreak. It was in that darkest moment in human history when God’s chosen people the Jews were facing God’s impending judgment for rejecting their Messiah, Jesus the Saviour of Israel, born as Scripture predicted in Bethlehem.

Jesus gave this invitation to all who will hear:

 Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

 This is an invitation by Jesus Himself before the close of the canon of divine revelation to come to Him to receive eternal life before the age of grace closes, the patience of God exhausted, the gospel preached to the end the world, when the last gentile is come in and the judgment of God begins upon the unbelieving who blatantly reject God, and the church is taken home to heaven in glory.

Today, Israel is back in the land and yet rejected their Christ Jesus. And America, the only Christian nation in the world has rejected their Christ Jesus, throwing out Christian prayer and the commandments from their courtrooms and the Bible from their classrooms, legalising LGBT in the recent months. Truly, judgment is nigh as God did judge Sodom, the LGBT is fast becoming global, therefore this judgment is global! Are you ready?
