1 Corinthians 12:24, More Abundant Honour to that Part Which Lacked

1 Corinthians 12:24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:

We observe the wisdom of God in the construction of the human body with the varied parts that make the whole body. It is a mutually inclusive design that gives the overall functionality through interdependence.

The Apostle Paul observed how God has given more honour to the less presentable parts of the body so that no part of the body is less honourable than the others. By this analogy, it is shown how members of the body are to uphold each other so that God’s purpose is advanced through the functionality of each member. The less comely parts are better adorned and protected.

May the Lord’s kingdom work advance from strength to strength through the harmonious functioning of His body for His honour and glory. Amen.
