1 Corinthians 12:25, Members Should Have the Same Care One for Another
1 Corinthians 12:25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
William MacDonald observed, “The mutual care of the members prevents division or schism in the body.”
He further explained, “One gives to another what is needed, and receives in return the help which only that other member can give. This is the way it must be in the church.”
He cautioned, “Overemphasis on any one gift of the Spirit will result in conflict and schism.”
