1 Corinthians 15:23-24, They are Christ’s At His Coming

1 Corinthians 15:23-24 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming. 24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is a testimony to the resurrection of the dead in the time when Christ returns to bear rule over all the earth. He will return the dead in Christ to glory at His coming.  The world seemed to be derailing itself as men sought war as a means of resolving their conflicts. Weapons and better weapons are the answers to broker peace in a fallen world where might is right.

Christ, at His coming, will bring true peace to this world. There is now no true peace with men after more than six millennia of existence. God, Himself will have to finally put down all rule and all authority and power. At that time, men will cherish God’s rule admitting that he has failed to bring true peace to his own world.

May the Lord bless the truth to our hearts that Christ’s coming may be soon. Amen.
