1 Corinthians 15:46-48, As Is the Heavenly

1 Corinthians 15:46-48 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

Every believer has this hope that his mortal body will return to earth but God will remake new an immortal body. This immortal body is described as spiritual and heavenly. It is a body that is fitted for glorious, heavenly living.

Heaven is a most wonderful, exciting and glorious place that believers, clothed with an immortal body, can happily live ever after. An eternity that begins when God destroys this present heaven and earth and create a new heaven and a new earth.

May the Lord bless us with spiritual sight to behold our coming heavenly home so that our earthly life may be lived in the light of the eternity to come. Amen.
