1 Corinthians 15:58, Your Labour Is Not In Vain In the Lord

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Death is no longer an impasse for the Christian, God has provided for His people a comprehensive solution. We are going to inherit an incorruptible body, a new body, no more aches and pains, a body that will last us for eternity. This is the promise of God in the preceding text.

Surely, we must be a thankful people for all that God has done and will do for us. After He saved us, He leads us in a local church to serve and worship Him. What a joy it is to await the day of our change. And we are saying that this day is near, as we see the prophecies of His coming again fulfilled before our very eyes.

That is the reason why God saved us – to proclaim His glory as a witness to the world of God’s coming judgment and in Jesus Christ is the only way of escape! May we be faithful to share the good news to the blessing of others and to the honour and glory of His Name. Amen.
