1 Corinthians 15:55-58, Victory Through Our Lord Jesus Christ
1 Corinthians 15:55-58 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
The blessing of eternal life comes with victory over death and sin. A blessing that the kings in the past sought to find but in vain. The secret to eternal life comes by faith in Jesus Christ. This truth, for God’s people, must warm the heart and strengthen the soul. God’s power of salvation is freely given to all who will receive Jesus Christ by faith.
It is worthy of thanksgiving. God’s people are reminded to give thanks for all that God has done for us and will do for us at the consummation when Jesus returns. An incorruptible and glorious body is promised to every child of God. The best AI and biotech scientists cannot recreate a dead man. This power is supernatural. We bow in humble adoration at the truth of our future resurrection and change.
May God give us the renewed courage and faith to serve Him. Amen.
