1 Corinthians 16:16 That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth.

William MacDonald said well, “The apostle exhorts the Christians to submit to such, and to everyone who helps in the work and labours.”

He added, “We learn from the general teaching of the NT that those who set themselves apart for the service of Christ should be shown the loving respect of all the people of God.”

Finally, he exhorted, “If this were done more generally, it would prevent a great deal of division and jealousy.” Amen.
