1 Corinthians 16:19 The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.

William MacDonald observed well, “The churches of Asia refers to the congregations in the province of Asia (Asia Minor today), of which Ephesus was the capital.” Christian greetings conveying love and fellowship in the Lord.

Who were Aquilla and Priscilla? They were a Christian couple who were tentmakers by profession. The Apostle Paul joined them in their work of tentmaking for a season. They lived in Corinth also for a season and therefore were well-acquainted with the brethren in the church in Corinth. They now established a local church in their home where worship and prayer and ministry work was done. The Apostle Paul was in contact with them at the point of writing.
