Revelation 3:14; The Beginning of the Creation of God

Revelation 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

Christ is the Creator as John 1:3 tells us.

3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

He was at the beginning of no beginnings, the uncaused First Cause. He is before all things, the eternal “logos” the eternal word of God.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2T he same was in the beginning with God.

He is the Ultimate Authority, the Finality of all things. This is He that speaks. The guilty before God is wont to deny they are guilty. But there is no hiding with God, just as God sought Adam and Eve who disobeyed God’s revealed will to eat of the fruit from the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

And they felt shameful, thought themselves naked and had to sew figs together to cover their nakedness and had to hide from God because their guilty conscience rebuked them.

Let us make right with our Maker. We have offended Him by our sins. Let us come in humble repentance. Amen.
