Revelation 6:9-11; Prayer for Divine Vengeance

9And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10And  they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto  them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

With the opening of the 5thseal, the scene is changed from earth to heaven. Beneath the altar, John saw a multitude of saints who lose their lives as martyrs. They were persecuted for the word of God and for the testimony of Christ which they held.

The faithful were depicted in white robes just as overcomers (Rev. 3:5) would be dressed in white. More martyrs remained to be killed to complete the heavenly assembly.[1]

The word of God was still available with the rapture of the church, there are those saved and resisted the kingdom of the Antichrist vehemently, and were martyred.

Romans 10:8-13 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, evenin thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Amen.
