Revelation 14:5; No Guile Without Fault Before the Throne of God
Revelation 14:5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
The Apostle Paul said to the Philippian church in Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
The renewed mind is true, honest, just and pure, lovely and of good report. There is found virtue of God’s attribute embedded in the soul and praise to God in heart and mouth and hand and feet.
Such a man cannot be faulted as the Apostle Paul show us the blessing of a Spirit-filled life – Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Such a heart is prepared for service as prophet Isaiah testified of our Lord Jesus’ blessed ministry:
Isaiah 61:1-2 The Spirit of the Lord GOD isupon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that arebound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
Indeed, as Robert Murray M’ Cheyne wrote, “The purpose of the ministry is to preach good tidings to distressed consciences, the meek and the broken-hearted. The meek here do not mean the gentle and sweet-tempered, as the word is often applied to the children of God, but the afflicted, the poor – poor in their own eyes, without riches before God, naked, without a covering, without anything to recommend to God. Do any of these apply to you? Then you are here spoken of – Christ was sent to bind up the broken-hearted – Christ has died so that any sinner may take Him as Substitute, Christ especially offered Himself to the broken-hearted, that there is peace and joy in believing.”
What a blessed ministry these 144,000 Jewish missionaries had for our emulation. Amen.
