Revelation 16:13-14 Three Unclean Spirits Like Frogs
Revelation 16:13-14 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs comeout of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, whichgo forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
The evil trinity of the mystery of iniquity to three unclean spirits like frogs. It is interesting to note that three frogs were the original coat of arms of France, a country that has been a center of infidelity, socialism, and spiritualism… Some interpreters see in Nazism, Fascism, and Communism the three frogs that John saw…. A conspicious feature of the ministry of the beast will be the great signs and wonders performed by satanic means. The dragon, the beast and the false prophet are appropriately likened to loathsome frogs. As frogs croak by night in marshes and quagmires, so these unclean spirits in the darkness of error teach lies in the mire of filthy lusts. Frogs were regarded by Greek writers and poets as the proper inhabitants of the Stygian lake, or the river of hell. These spirits issue out of the mouth of the unholy three who form hell’s trinity – the mouth being the chief seat of influence. From various Scriptures, we gather that the mouth is the source and means of destruction.
Isaiah 11:4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
Revelation 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance wasas the sun shineth in his strength.
Revelation 2:16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
Revelation 9:17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses wereas the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
Revelation 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
The dragon is to be consumed with the breath of the Lord’s mouth.
2 Thessalonians 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
The unclean spirit of the dragon’s mouth symbolises the proud infidelity opposing the Lord and His Anointed One, Christ. The unclean spirit out of the beast’s mouth represents the spirit of the world in the politics of men, whether lawless democracy or despotism, in which man is set above God. The unclean spirit of the false prophet’s mouth depicts the lying spiritualism and religious delusion rampant in the days of satanic deception.
In this satanic trinity, with its miracle-working ministry, we have a combination of direct hellish power, brute apostate force, and terrible malignant influence for the dread purpose of gathering the millions of earth for war. The final effort of hell to overthrow heaven is at hand, and it results in Christ taking over the kingship of the world.
Revelation 19:17-21 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, bothfree and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which swordproceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
At His return, He will deal effectively with these three unclean spirits, just as He did with those who antagonised Him while He was on earth.
