Revelation 17:12; The Ten Horns
Revelation 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
The message is that we should not be caught unaware. We should not be surprised! The signs are before us – one of them is the economic sign. This sign tells us that the world is moving toward a NEW WORLD ORDER of global government, religion and economy. We have touched on in greater detail that you might be better prepared for the dark and perilous days ahead.
The drive towards a One World Government is the epitome of man’s rebellion against his Creator. The LORD made this observation in Genesis 11:6 “And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” Not so long ago in Genesis 6, when the hearts of men was only evil continually, it grieved the heart of God and He had to destroy the world with a global flood. The descendants of Noah are now again totally corrupt, they reject God’s rule and built a great tower as a symbol of his supremacy without God. Man in his depraved and corrupt condition rejects God’s rule and goes about by his own wisdom to establish his own rule, the best way he knows how – a one world government.
How to Achieve The New World Order — Title of book excerpt by Henry Kissinger, in Time magazine (March 1994) – “The Final Act of the Uruguay Round, marking the conclusion of the most ambitious trade negotiation of our century, will give birth – in Morocco – to the World Trade Organization, the third pillar of the New World Order, along with the United Nations and the International Monetary Fund.”
This is exactly the call of Pope Benedict IV after the 2008 financial crisis in his encyclical released in July 2009 in a message to the US President Barak Obama reported BBC News 9 July 2009[1], “The Pope has called for reform of the United Nations and financial bodies, giving them the “real teeth” needed to tackle economic and social injustice. Benedict XVI said the blind pursuit of profit and economic mismanagement had “wreaked havoc” on the global economy. The market, said the Pope, must not become the place where the strong prevail over the weak. His encyclical letter said a reformed UN should strive for disarmament, food security and environmental protection.”
“There is a strongly felt need…for a reform of the United Nations Organisation, and likewise of economic institutions and international finance, so that the concept of the family of nations can acquire real teeth…there is urgent need of a true world political authority,” the Pope wrote.
This call by the Pope, the leader of 1.2 Billion Roman Catholics, in his encyclical letter (the highest form of papal teaching) to the leader of the G8 of nations, America, is most significant. It tells the world a strong message that the One World Government has to come to pass.
The NWO’s plan is to reorganize the world into 10 economic zones – each of which will have their leader – which correspond to the ten horns / ten toes in the Bible.
More recently, in Singapore we read of the plan to form an ASEAN region by 2015 in the article written by Sulilo Bambang Yudhoyono, the President of the Republic of Indonesia and the current chairman of ASEAN entitled “Repositioning Asean in a new world order” dated 24 February 2011 and formed on 31 December 2015 as forcasted.
There have been suggestions on the regional groupings that we can observe as nations gravitate together.

The Anti-Christ will arise after the 10 kings (Daniel 7:24) after he vanquishes 3 kings. The bible describes him as very intelligent (“eyes”), arrogant and boastful (Daniel 7:11), will persecute the saints (Daniel 7:25 cf. Matthew 24:8), subjugate and control Israel and will be judged by God (Revelation 19:19-20).[3]
Economic unity is the pre-cursor for political unity. What is the proof of the viability of a regional and eventually a world currency? “Columbia University economic professor Robert Mundell, widely regarded as the “Father of the Euro,” has argued for decades that national-state currencies, including the dollar, need to give way to a new official world currency. For his work in defining the “optimal currency area” as regional markets instead of nation-states, Mundell won the Nobel prize in economics in 1999. Mundell’s argument was that nation-states are not optimal currency areas, because nation-state borders are artificial constraints imposed on the globe to create ethnic or historical divisions that do not necessarily represent how international markets operate. To understand the concept, Mundell cites former Federal Reserve chairman Paul Volcker’s frequently quoted dictum, “A global economy needs a global currency. Free-trade advocates see elimination of nation-state currencies as removing yet another barrier to international trade, much as eliminating tariffs and customs controls removes other international trade barriers. Furthermore, one-world currency advocates believes a worldwide monetary policy established by a one-world central bank would be more stable, in that individual nation-states would no longer be free to set interest rates in order to benefit national marketplace. Advocates of one world currency believe abandoning national currencies would facilitate flows of private capital across borders, thereby stimulating economic growth across the globe. Finally, establishing a one-world currency would eliminate the possibilities of speculators attacking nation-state currencies. Mundell anticipated that the emergence of an official world currency would begin with the International Monetary Fund accepting deposits of gold, dollars, or euros in exchange for credit balances denominated in credit balances defined by IMF Special Drawing Rights, or SDRs. These IMF credits would then serve as the beginning of a one-world international currency that could be used by all countries to hold their foreign-exchange reserves.”
Debts will be erased off when a new currency is issued. To solve the American debt problem, there is the plan a North American Currency Union. It is possibly a coming economic and monetary union of three North American countries: Canada, the United States and Mexico. Map of a theoretical NAU, with Canada, Mexico, and the United States Implementation would involve the three countries giving up their current currency units (U.S. dollar, Canadian dollar, and Mexican peso) and adopting a new one, created specifically for this purpose. The hypothetical currency for the union is most often referred to as the Amero. The concept is modeled on the common European Union currency (the euro), and it is argued to be a natural extension of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP).
It seemed governments of the United States, Canada, and Mexico are already taking steps to implement such a currency, as part of a “North American Union (NAU)”.[4]
We also see ASEAN moving toward regionalization by 2015 and possibly a single currency.
We are seeing the movement toward a one world currency by the currency crisis that will come as a result of the crack in the sovereign bond market of first world nations. Could the one-world currency be a precursor to the mark of the beast prophesied in Revelation 13:16-17 “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”
