Lord’s Day, Vol. 8 No. 52

(1) Baptismal Rejoicing

Thank God for His grace in leading His people to publicly confess their faith in Christ during the Baptismal Service on 20 December 2020. The Lord prepared five for Baptism and one for Reaffirmation of Faith. Having completed their catechism classes, the Lord appointed this time for their baptism.

Echoing the words of the Apostle Peter in Acts 2:38-39 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

A word of prayer for these newly baptized ones from the heart of the Apostle Paul in Colossians 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. Amen.

(2) Certificate of Completion for Reading Through the Bible in One Year

At the beginning of this year, a spiritual challenge was given to read through the entire Bible in one year. As the year draws to a close, it is an appropriate time to make a call to those who have completed the reading to receive their well-deserved Certificate of Completion. All praise and thanks for His grace. Amen.
