Revelation 21:8; And the Abominable and Whoremongers

Revelation 21:8 (KJV)  But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. 

Among those who will defect to follow the beast, the human lives of others have very little value (Mark 7:21; Romans 7:21; Romans 1:19).

Mark 7:21 (KJV)  For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

Romans 7:21 (KJV)  I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 

Romans 1:19 (KJV)  Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 

By choosing the beast instead of the Lamb, they will have a part in the martyrdom of the saints and will become part of a group of “murderers”. (Revelation 17:6; 18:24) (Swete, Johnson).

Revelation 17:6 (KJV)  And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. 

Revelation 18:24 (KJV)  And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth. 

Quite often prostitution accompanies murder and the idolatry that will characterise the popular movement of the beast. “Fornicators” have often tried to pass themselves off as Christians (Revelation 2:14; 2:22 cf. 1 Corinthians 5:10; 1 Timothy 1:9-10, but whatever front they have put up, they cannot expect a part in the bliss of the new creation.

Revelation 2:14 (KJV)  But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

Revelation 2:22 (KJV) Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

1 Corinthians 5:10 (KJV)  Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 

1 Timothy 1:9-10 (KJV)  Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
