Ephesians 1:4 Chosen In Love

Ephesians 1:4 (KJV) According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

It is God who chose to save us from our sins so that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.

Holiness comes when we confess our sins and draw nigh to God through Christ. This is the state of heart that is cleansed and pure before God.

To be without blame is the outworking of holiness that begins in the heart and emanates in our words and actions. It means conformance to God’s laws. It means cannot be faulted.

This is because the Christ sanctified believer chooses to live the commandments and heartily love and obeys them.
