Psalm 37:18-19 Not Ashamed In the Evil Time

Psalm 37:18-19 (KJV)  The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. 

The people of God who walks with Him are protected and preserved by Him for His Name’s sake as they fulfil His goodwill on earth.

In the evil time, they shall not be confounded to draw back in following Him. Rather they will be steadfast because He is with them.

The days of famine are days of want, hardship. But for the people of God, He will take care of them. This is the assurance God gave to His people who follow Him.

What will be the days ahead? There are signs of famine ahead. Let us trust Him to take care of us as we surrender our lives to Him. Amen.
