1 Corinthians 15:57 Victory All the Way

1 Corinthians 15:57 (KJV)  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 

Death is our last enemy. Death has been conquered through Christ. This is cause for thanksgiving. This is a joyous victory cry. It comes at a great price.

The enactment of God’s redemption plan through the seed of the woman (Genesis 3:15) that bruise the serpent’s head featured itself in a battle through the ages culminating in Christ’s last words upon the cross – It is finished!

There is a restoration that comes through Christ’s resurrection three days later. The restoration of physical life, the resurrection life, at the rapture of the church.

What a glorious day as we await the final victory call.

In the meantime, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. Amen.
