Isaiah 43:1 Created, Formed, Redeemed, Called

Isaiah 43:1 (KJV)  But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. 

Created, Formed, Redeemed and Called are the terms that described what God did in Jacob’s life, whose name God renamed Israel! He is exhorted to be rid of the spirit of fear.

He is to trust God to care for Him for Israel is called by God a people that belong to Him. He possessed them, they belong to Him. He will certainly do so!

The people of God are assured of God’s presence in their lives to sustain and succour them. It is the privilege of the redeemed to be precious in the sight of the LORD their God.

Let us take heart to let Him bear our burdens. Amen.
