Psalm 78:52-53 He Led Them On Safely

Psalm 78:52-53 (KJV)  But made his own people to go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock. And he led them on safely, so that they feared not: but the sea overwhelmed their enemies. 

God leads His people as the Shepherd par excellence. He is gentle and handles His sheep with utmost care. They feared not. His protection allayed their fear.

Although Israel was in the wilderness, the wilderness was not a terror. He defended them against all enemies. In fact, He parted the Red Sea so that Israel can be brought to safety from the devouring Egyptian army.

Thank God that He is the most experienced Shepherd. We are under His care. Therefore, let us rest in Him. Amen.
