Psalm 84:4 Dwelling and Praising

Psalm 84:4 (KJV)  Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah. 

Life with God is praiseworthy. There is a shelter for one over the head in that our God is our refuge and stronghold.

Such is the blessing of God’s people on earth. They shall not be want of a refuge for in Him we have our sufficiency.

The church is sheltered in Christ – Hebrews 3:6 (KJV)  But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. 

The people of God is exhorted to assemble for worship as a witness and praise to our great sheltering God in all seasons of life – Hebrews 10:25 (KJV)  Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. 

Let us hold fast our confidence in Christ and the rejoicing of our hope firm unto the end. Amen.
