Colossians 1:27 God Has Made Known

Colossians 1:27 (KJV)  To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: 

For the believer, there is a life within us that the indwelling Spirit of Christ rules and blesses. How much does the unbelieving miss not knowing Christ!

One new believer testified that he wakes up in the middle of the night recovering from a stroke. Because he knew Christ, he was able to pray and found peace in his heart whereas before he felt frightened.

The ultimate test is that transition to eternity when the body becomes weaker and weaker. For the believer, there is the sure hope of transiting into eternity with Christ in our heavenly home. There is a restfulness of the soul in that moment of transition.

May the Lord strengthen His people indeed to share the good news of Christ in us, the hope of glory. Amen.
