1 John 3:19 Our Hearts Assured

1 John 3:19 (KJV)  And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. 

Knowing the truth and being assured of the truth concerning our eternal well-being brings comfort to our present self. The assurance that God’s promises bring to our hearts is most comforting and encouraging and affirming.

Let us endeavour to have a clear conscience before God. Where there is sin, let us confess. Where there is praise, let us rejoice with thanksgiving.

Our obedience to the truth of God’s Word is one litmus test. Let us seek to obey Him this new day and seek to walk with Him.

Trusting in the Lord’s wise bestowment, we have no cause for fear. Amen.
