2 Corinthians 4:10-12 The Life of Jesus Made Manifest In Our Mortal Flesh
2 Corinthians 4:10-12 (KJV) Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
What glory it is to live the life of Jesus in our mortal flesh! It brings honour to Him. It is a life of self-denial, mortification of the flesh and experiencing the power of God, that resurrection life in its fullness.
In fact, there is suffering to endure, persecuting foes to meet, souls to garner into God’s kingdom. Friendship in the Lord to be cultivated and cherished!
Most of all, there is reward awaiting the faithful, a mansion to take possession and an eternity worth of life to live.
May the Lord grant us the faith and vision to take hold of such a life with Jesus, day by day, moment by moment! Amen.
