Psalm 71:5 Thou Art My Hope

Psalm 71:5 (KJV)  For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth.

Hoping in the Lord brings certainty to life. For the psalmist, he has cultivated faith in the Lord GOD from his youth. It could be testified experientially in life’s journey. It is now being affirmed more assuredly after many consistent experiences of God’s faithfulness.

As such, he is recommending to us the Lord whom he serves, that He is indeed the living and true GOD. There is no other and none other but fully identified in the Person of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ not only conquered sin on our behalf but overcame death for our sake so that we may be partakers of the heavenly nature and heavenly kingdom and He will soon usher in.

May His people rejoice at His soon return. Amen.
