Psalm 120:1 Heard!

Psalm 120:1 (KJV)  A Song of degrees. In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me. 

Crying is the sign of utter distress. To be heard and understood is most precious especially in the time of our distress and need. The LORD not only understands but He is able to properly help!

This is the efficacy of help through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Hebrews 2:17-18 (KJV)  Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted. 

Romans 8:26-27 (KJV)  Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 

Let us therefore appropriate help through Christ, our LORD and Saviour. Amen.
