Colossians 4:2-3 Continue in Prayer
Colossians 4:2-3 (KJV) Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
A prisoner’s faith in God is being expressed through the request for prayer for grace to endure the hardness of prison life and the manifestation of God’s glory through the preaching of Christ.
Undeterred by the bondage of prison life, this epistle to the Colossians is being written. to exhort the believers to live the power of the life hidden in Christ.
Colossians 3:3 (KJV) For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
This is little understood by the world and by the unsanctified. But for the co-labourers who supported the Apostle Paul through prayer. This was most needful and most appreciated by him. Amen.
