Psalm 132:13 Chosen for Habitation
Psalm 132:13 (KJV) For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.
Zion is God’s dwelling place. The greatest privilege to have been chosen for God to dwell with us. This is the blessed Holy Spirit’s presence in the believer, who is yielded and consecrated to Him. What glory just to walk with God.
What a blessing to have the Spirit’s presence to comfort and to cheer us. This is the divine provision that is wholesome all-encompassing, permeating to all aspects of life.
Psalm 139:6 (KJV) Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
And yet, as we humble ourselves before Him, we find sweet communion and sweeter as the days go by.
Psalm 132:3-5 (KJV) Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed; I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids, Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.
That place is in our hearts as we worship and adore Him. For in Him, we find indeed the sweetest rest. Amen.
