Psalm 37:4 Delight in the LORD

Psalm 37:4 (KJV)  Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 

Delight is in the imperative, a command to, enjoy your fellowship with the LORD. It is also in the reflexive. We have to personally appropriate it for ourselves.

Through the meditation of His Word, through enjoying the creation, through prayer, we enjoy His presence with us.

There is a consequent effect of delighting in the LORD. He shall give unto you the request of your heart. A great reward for delight in Him and enjoying His company. The best of everything.

What a life! May the Lord bless our communion with Him and strengthen our hearts. Amen.
