Psalm 118:19-20 The Gate of Praise

Psalm 118:19-20 (KJV)  Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD: This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter. 

The path of God’s blessing is through the gates of righteousness. Jesus says calls the gates of righteousness the strait gate therein is the narrow way that leads to everlasting life.

Matthew 7:13-14 (KJV)  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

In other words, Jesus is bidding us to come to Him – Matthew 11:28 (KJV)  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. John 14:6 (KJV)  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus is the Lamb of God that will give to all who come to Him righteousness. The happiest prospect. Come to Jesus today. Amen.
