1 John 5:1 Outworking of True Faith

1 John 5:1 (KJV)  Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. 

The outworking of true faith is a love for the people of God. The identity of the redeemed is authenticated by a love for the redeemed of God. There is a kindred mindset and a kindred bond that is sealed by mutual love.

Romans 6:9-10 (KJV)  Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 

A love for God and a love for men is the measure of one who liveth unto God. Sin has been overcome and conquered. A new nature rules the heart. What blessedness. No more grudge but more grace experienced and dispensed, from God to our hearts and out to others around. To our loved ones and those further in ties. Amen,
