Psalm 89:15-16 Blessed Is the People That Know the Joyful Sound

Psalm 89:15-16 (KJV)  Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance. In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted. 

The people of God are blessed people, happy in their walk because the light of God’s guidance shows them the good way. There is rejoicing living by the Name of the Lord for in the Lord is righteousness imputed unto by faith.

Praise, rejoicing, and thanksgiving are the substantive portions of the hearts and lips of God’s people. Having been clothed with Christ’s righteousness, we are free from the bondage of sin, and choosing to live in the beauty of holiness by His grace, we find life most fulfilling and purposeful.

There is a glorious eternal life to look forward to and a glorious eternal communion we share with our LORD, indeed, blessed is the people worships Him in spirit and in truth. Amen.
