Proverbs 29:18 Where There Is No Vision

Proverbs 29:18 (KJV)  Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. 

Where there is a famine to hear the Word of God, the people of God become weak, our text tells us they perish. They perish for want of divine instruction. They have little strength against the onslaught of the evil one.

For the people of God who are guided and instructed in His Word, happy are they. These possess the wherewithal for life.

Thank God that we have an open Bible. We may go to God’s Word and meditate and find joy and peace and wisdom from it.

May the Lord bless this new day as we seek to walk with Him according to the heavenly vision set before us in His Word. Amen.
