Psalm 84:7 Strength Only in the Lord

Psalm 84:7 (KJV)  They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

The psalmist speaks of the blessedness of the man (v4, 5, 12) who dwells with God in His house. He gives to us the characteristics of God’s house, the dwellers of God’s House, and the God of the House. It is a description of great joy and peace. 

Psalm 84:4 (KJV)  Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah. 

Psalm 84:5 (KJV)  Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them. 

Psalm 84:12 (KJV)  O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee. 

God cares for him to ensure that he grows in spiritual strength. He is characterized as one who fails not to appear before God to receive His blessings each time. Every problem that he has is taken care of because he can pour out all his sorrows to Him who does not fail to help.
