Psalm 31:24 Be of Good Courage

Psalm 31:24 (KJV)  Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD. 

The heart of a man whose hope is in the LORD finds courage in the LORD in the time of adversity. He is able to say, the LORD has strengthened my heart. This is the experience of the saints through the ages.

In desperation, he sought the LORD – Psalm 31:22 (KJV)  For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee. 

Therefore, he extolled the LORD in filial praise – Psalm 31:21 (KJV)  Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city. 

By experience, he knew that he may come again and again to Him, come boldly to the throne, and will not be disappointed. Amen.
