2 Corinthians 9:8 Abounding

2 Corinthians 9:8 (KJV)  And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 

To “abound” is to exceed a fixed number of measure. Here is spoken of the abounding of “all grace”. The unmerited favour of God meted out in all aspects and all areas of our lives.

Here is spoken of the power of God is making His grace abound in our lives. He is able and we are to know He is able as we by faith do His goodwill.

2 Corinthians 9:11 (KJV)  Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God. 

There is a readiness of heart to do good and there is the part of God to supply all that is needed for every good work. A blessing indeed! Amen.
