Psalm 4:3 The Godly for Himself

Psalm 4:3 (KJV)  But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him. 

The godly man’s fellowship with God is what sets him apart from the world and sets him nearer, still nearer to God. Communion through His Word and communion through prayer is an integral part of that fellowship.

The godly holds God’s Word with utmost reverence and finds the spiritual strength to obey and follow the Lord. He is mercifully and wonderfully guided. Receives His utmost blessings.

Here is a man who seeks God for mercy early and receives it. He is filled with the Spirit and confident that his prayer will be heard – Hebrews 4:16 (KJV)  Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Amen.
