John 17:8 I Came Out From Thee

John 17:8 (KJV)  For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.

The revelation of God to mankind culminates in the revelation of God’s Son Jesus Christ who entered human history and declared and personally reach out to men. This is how God reaches out to sinful men, by Himself in human flesh, yet without sin!

1 Timothy 3:16 (KJV)  And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 

2 Corinthians 5:21 (KJV)  For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 

Thank God for the faith that He mercifully bestows upon us who draws near to Him. Amen.
