Romans 8:2 Life in Christ

Romans 8:2 (KJV)  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 

Life in Christ is a glorious life indeed. The wisdom of God’s law is energized by the Holy Spirit to guide such a blessed life. It is free from the law of sin and death.

Precious freedom to be cherished and cultivated, nurtured, and nourished for much good in a world bound by the darkness of sin and the judgment of eternal death.

This is enunciated in the earlier verse in Romans 8:1 (KJV)  There is therefore now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 

Life in the Spirit is superior to life in the flesh. One is life, the other is death. Let God’s people see clearly the peace and joy that is promised to the Spirit-led life.

Romans 8:6 (KJV)  For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
