Hebrews 1:1-2 God Spoke By His Son

Hebrews 1:1-2 (KJV)  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 

God spoke first by His prophets. This is the Old Testament Scriptures. The final revelation of God is in His Son Jesus Christ.

Jesus affirms the Old Testament Scriptures when He said in Luke 24:44 (KJV)  And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

He is the heir of all things. All things belong to Him. Jesus Christ is the Creator. All things were made by Him.

The last days refer to the period between Christ’s first and second coming. In His first coming, Jesus comes as Saviour. All who come to Him find salvation. In His second coming, He comes as Judge. All who do not acknowledge Him will wail because of Him.
