Matthew 6:33-34 Seek First the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness
Matthew 6:33-34 (KJV) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
There is a divine order to earthly life for the Christian. We are created anew in Christ and we are translated into citizens of God’s kingdom by the new birth. Therefore, we have an understanding of the inestimable value and worth concerning our earthly mission.
The earthly needs will be taken care of as we pursue the heavenly path. Jesus says in John 6:27 (KJV) Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
He further declared in John 6:35 (KJV) And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
Jesus says to His disciples in Matthew 28:18-20 (KJV) … All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Let us come to Jesus and seek Him and find in Him our all sufficiency. Amen.
