Psalm 48:9 Dwelling in the Midst of Thy Temple
Psalm 48:9 (KJV) We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.
As we abide in the presence of God, the Holy Spirit brings to remembrance in our hearts all the good that we have received from Him. Undeserved but forthcoming from a loving God, benevolent and kind in all His ways.
The psalmist, therefore, extols at the opening thought of this psalm – Psalm 48:1 (KJV) A Song and Psalm for the sons of Korah. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.
Dwelling in the midst of the temple of God, the place of confession, repentance, and consecration, the Lord in His holy temple and we keep silence before Him with self-examination and reverence.
Let us, therefore, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. Amen.
