Job 5:19 There Shall No Evil Touch Thee

Job 5:19 (KJV)  He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee. 

Under the care of God, we are a protected people. There shall no evil touch thee. He protects us from all evil – Psalm 121:7-8 (KJV)  The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. 

Counting our troubles, they seemed so numerous, the trials unending and the tempter untired. Yet there is a clear promise out of God’s Word that brings us to faith in the times of our trouble.

Let us not be dismayed, but be courageous in such a time as this. May we confident in the LORD, take hold of Him – Psalm 23:6 (KJV)  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. Amen.
