Psalm 34:4 Delivered!

Psalm 34:4 (KJV)  I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. 

The psalmist testified of the efficacy of prayer to dispel prayer. He testified that he sought the LORD. And He testified that his prayers were heard. What joy it is to be delivered from all his fears. Fear can be most debilitating. He acknowledged his dire need for the LORD to help him.

Psalm 34:6 (KJV)  This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. 

Just how was he delivered? In a most marvellous way, he testified. The angel of the LORD protected him.

Psalm 34:7 (KJV)  The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. 

Psalm 34:8 (KJV)  O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. 

The poverty of his spirit and the fear of the LORD in his heart enabled him to cry out to the LORD for help.

Psalm 34:9 (KJV)  O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. 

He was gloriously delivered. Amen.
