Ephesians 1:3 Tremendously Blessed in Christ

Ephesians 1:3 (KJV)  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 

What can rob the believer of the spiritual blessings that God has availed for us in Christ? When we are not strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. When we have not upon us the whole armour of God. When we are not standing fast, resisting the devil at his wiles. When we are not watchful and when we are not praying.

The devil attacks our mind, he attacks our will and he attacks our body and everything related to it. For believers to appropriate the means of grace that we enter not into temptation, we need to be vigilant and watchful so that we enter not into temptation.

God’s Word is not just to be read, it is to be meditated upon and to be hidden in the heart for instant use in times of need especially in our prayers when we are weak in the body. May the Lord strengthen His people. Amen.
