1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV)  In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 

In every season of life, there is cause for thanksgiving for God’s people. Because this is the will of God for us. Coming to Christ brings the believer into a spiritual blessing that Jesus brings to His people by His continual intercession on our behalf at the right hand of the Father.

Thanksgiving is a spiritual command that invokes peace and joy in the heart because we are in Christ. There is no cause for worry nor for fear. It is a restful spiritual disposition that God is on the throne, superintending over our eternal good.

May the people of God remain restful, abiding in Christ, through the meditation of His goodness. Amen.
