2 Corinthians 12:10 Distresses For Christ’s Sake
2 Corinthians 12:10 (KJV) Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
In the course of fulfiling God’s purposes, the Apostle Paul experienced much need. However, he testified that the Lord Christ was there to prove Himself strong for him in those times of need.
He learned dependence upon the Lord. He understood that his weakness is the Lord’s way of manifesting His glory. He gladly, therefore, experienced the sufferings that come in following Christ.
2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV) And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Amen.
