Philippians 3:10-11 The Fellowship of His Sufferings
Philippians 3:10-11 (KJV) That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
The sufferings of Christ, as He sought to do the Father’s will, were even unto death. But in death came His resurrection from the dead three days later.
Matthew 28:5-6 (KJV) And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
Matthew 28:9 (KJV) And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
In our sufferings for Christ’s sake, there is the power of God’s grace, the power of His resurrection, abiding to aid us for His glory. Amen.
